A year ago I packed my bags and flew to Hong Kong after successfully passing the audition for Miss Hong Kong 2016, thus being the the only contestant from Vancouver. I did not plan to audition for Miss Hong Kong as I had just completed Miss Chinese Vancouver in 2015 but with the encouragement from Fairchild TV, family and friends I took a chance. I choose to focus on the positives that I have gained from this opportunity. I will cherish the friendship, life experience and life lessons I received.
